A whale shark spotted in the waters of this closed island resort means that rehabilitation efforts are indeed working, according to some netizens. On Saturday, the netizens – mostly from Aklan – commented on a post that Energy Fm 107.7 Kalibo uploaded around 6 p.m. showing photos of a whale shark swimming in Boracay waters. Many of the netizens said the giant marine creature’s visit is a “good sign.”
