MetadataShow full item record
The island of Boracay can be likened to a ghost town since it was closed to tourists and visitors over a month ago. Heavily guarded by the police, military and coastguard, the once lively place now appears like a garrison of armed personnel, as if it is a war front. There is no economic activity.
