Barangay Banago officials will ask the management of Petron Corp. to extend financial assistance to the fisherfolk affected by the oil that leaked from one of the gas company's pipelines. About 200 villagers reportedly stopped fishing and gathering seashells after finding out about the leak on Friday last week.
