For illegal fishing, two persons were arrested in Negros Occidental. They were the 27-year-old Jeremiah Morit of Barangay Tagda, Hinigaran town and 54-year-old Rejam Quianto of Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, a police report showed. Morit and Quianto were charged for violation of sections 86 and 95 of Republic Act 10654, or The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998.
