    Excerpt
Five coastal areas remain positive for the red tide toxin, with Palawan waters added to the list, according to the latest laboratory results of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). In its latest bulletin, the agency said Puerto Princesa Bay, Puerto Princesa City, in Palawan is now positive for red tide toxin. Meanwhile, shellfishes collected at coastal waters of Biliran province; coastal waters of Leyte in Leyte; Lianga Bay in Surigao del Sur; coastal waters of Dauis and Tagbilaran City in Bohol; and Honda Bay, Puerto Princesa City, in Palawan are still positive for paralytic shellfish poison that is beyond the regulatory limit.
