    Excerpt
SEAFDEC's Aquaculture Department (AQD) is inviting entrepreneurs and aquaculture industry stakeholders to the ABOT (Agree-Build-Organize-Transfer) Aquaculture Business Forum which will be held October 16-17 at the Philippine Social Science Center, Diliman, Quezon City. "Teaching people how to culture fish to secure food and livelihood beyond a lifetime" is the Forum's theme which is in line with the Agriculture and Fisheries Week on 1-5 October 2007. The Forum aims to explain science-based aquaculture packages suitable to the needs, interests, physical and financial resources of the clients, as well as to promote adoption of sustainable aquaculture practices complementary to the development and conservation of fishery and aquatic resources.
