SEAFDEC to put up caging demo farm

About 36 farmers in Brgy. Tumalalud, Dumarao, Capiz will benefit from a freshwater fish caging demonstration farm that will be set up by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC). " The Project will provide an alternative livelihood to farmers affected by the backflow of an irrigation dam," said Engineer Julieta Gallardo, public information officer of the National Irrigation Administration - Capiz. Tilapia, bangus, shrimp and big head carp will be cultivated in the demo farm.
