The airline donates trash bins for use around the island to encourage proper waste management amongst locals and tourists alike. Cebu Pacific, together with the Philippine Department of Tourism, Department of Environmental and Natural Resources, and Department of Interior and Local Government, gather for a ceremonial turnover of bins to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO). The bins were manufactured using upcycled waste plastic materials, including 1.8 kilograms of laminated wrappers—roughly equivalent to 789 snack packs.en
