OIC assistant regional Director Jose Al Fruto of the Department of Republic works and highways (DPWH) 6 with regional executive Director Jim Sampulna of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) 6 discuss the effects of the Iloilo Esplanade 4 and 6 on the mangrove situated along the Iloilo River during a joint meeting at the DENR Regional Office. The DPWH assure the construction of the Esplanade takes into the consideration the effects on the mangroves.
