The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) is pleased to announce the conduct of the training course on Mangrove Ecology, Taxonomy and Community Structure to be held 15-20 April 2008 at AQD's Tigbauan Main Station, Tigbauan, Iloilo and Ibajay, Aklan. the 5-day training course, which will be undertaken in cooperation with Rebuilding Resilience of Coastal Populations and Aquatic Resources (RESCOPAR), aims to provide the participants with technical knowledge and skills to identify and characterize mangrove species and select appropriate species for replanting.
