The 6th Philippine Shrimp Congress is scheduled to be held in Bacolod City on May 29-30, 2008 at the newly renovated Bacolod Pavilion Resort Hotel. The Congress is organized by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources and Philippine Shrimp Industry Inc. (PHLSHRIMP), in coordination with Board of Investments (BOI), Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD), and Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
