    A novice researcher may only be as good as her/his adviser-mentor. If so, SEAFDEC Aquaculture Department should stand prouder when one of its research advises- Melvyn Carko Barroa- won the top spot in the 10th Intel Philippines National Science Fair 2007 in Tagaytay City, and subsequently, a Fourth Grand Award in the 58th Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) held in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA, from May 13 to 19.
