More Than 600 fishpond Operators in Aklan are asking relief support from President Benigno Aquino III through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources(BFAR). Super typhoon "Yolanda", which struck Visayas last November 8, caused great damage to agriculture and inland fisheries, particularly fishponds, affecting their production, they said. The association of fishpond operators in the province sought the help of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) in seeking necessary relief support from Malacañang and BFAR.
