As we seek to achieve food security and safety while at the same time raising incomes among our farmers and fisherfolks, the government must realize that agricultural and biosystems engineering is a crucial tool in this important development objective. this has a significant role in generating livelihoods and raising productivity in the countryside, something that the President has promised. Agricultural biosystems engineering will ensure, too, that our protected areas are well maintained and managed, and in improving our environment protection and climate change mitigation programs.
