Quoting the fisherman who found the dead turtle, Mavee Ponciano, forest technician II of the Kabankalan City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), said the turtle was found in waters of Barangay Masaling Cauayan town on Tuesday morning. A fisherman from Sitio Matab-ang discovered the sea turtle trapped in his "bubo" or squid cage at around 7 a.m., Ponciano said.en
