    The largest tuna cannery in the country, the Century Pacific Food Inc. called on SEAFDEC to determine the causes of milkfish mortality in their fish cages in Alabel, Saranggani. SEAFDEC immediately responded to the call and sent Mr. Demy Catedral and Ms. Ma. Maila Peniero, Fish Health Staffs, to Alabel, Saranggani last Nov. 19, 2018. The company suffered huge losses which started with heavy mortality of 500-800 fishes per cage on October 31.
