BFAR warns offish kill in Taal Lake
Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has warned fish pen operators around Taal Lake of a possible fish kill, saying the drop in the temperature could lead to an increase of sulfur in the water. In an advisory dated Dec. 12, the BFAR-Calabarzon cited cold winds spawned by the northeast monsoon, which is common from December to February.
