Gov. Samuel Gumarin accepted the PNLG flag recently at Sanya Visun Yacht Hotel in Hainan province, China as a symbol of acceptance for the hosting of the 2018 PNLG. Guimaras has an integrated coastal management program for sustainable development covering the preservation, conservation, and restoration of the island’s ecosystem from the hills to the sea.
