    The Philippine government and the People’s Republic of China are set to discuss the contentious issues concerning the South China Sea on Tuesday, Feb. 13, Presidential Spokesperson Herminio Harry L. Roque, Jr. said. “Now contentious issues concerning the South China Sea are discussed in what is known as the Bilateral Consultation Mechanism (BCM) on the South China Sea. [T]he second meeting of this Philippine-China BCM on the South China Sea will be held here in Manila tomorrow, Feb. 13, 2018,” Mr. Roque announced in a press briefing at the Palace on Monday, Feb. 12.
