Secretary Emmanuel Piñol of the Department of Agriculture (DA) will visit Antique, Guimaras and Iloilo on Aug. 8 to 9 to lead the turnover of P233-millions worth of agriculture and fisheries projects, according to the regional executive director Remelyn Recoter. Guimaras farmer and fisherfolk will receive a total of P185 million intervention, set to include the putting up of a calamansi processing building and facilities, community fish landing center, 100 units of 20-footer fiber glass boats, mini-four wheel drive tractor, five handtractors, five threshers, five pump and engine sets, six irrigation projects and a seeds nursery projects.
