The 1st ASEAN Mangrove Congress on Research and Development unfold on Dec. 3-7, at the Century Park Hotel, Manila with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources-Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (DENR-ERDB) as organizer, in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). The opening day program on Dec. 3 will be attended by Environment Secretary Ramon Paje as the guest speaker and Dr. Jurgenne Primavera, Scientist Emerita of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC)-Aquaculture department, as the plenary speaker.
