    The feeding habits of bangus hatcheries need a makeover."One problem in feeding management is that technicians just feed ad libitum," said Dr. Relicardo M. Coloso of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) Aquaculture Department. "Uneaten feed is wasted feed, and results in a higher Feed Conversion Ratio."He was referring to the amount of feed needed to increase the weight of milkfish. The use of deficient diets with low nutrient and energy density are the main reasons for a poor Feed Conversion Ratio.
