    The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) based in Tigbauan, Iloilo recently welcomed its new director in the person of Dr. Felix G. Ayson. A career fisheries scientist specializing in biotechnology, marine fish hatchery, and climate change, Dr. Ayson was selected based on the results of a search process facilitated by the Department of Agriculture. He was endorsed by Pres. Benigno Aquino III and his nomination were affirmed on June 29,2012, by the SEAFDEC Council.
