    Excerpt
Residents along the shoreline of affected barangays here and three other towns in Negros Occidental province are warned against harvesting or eating shellfish in the area due to red tide contamination. Ruel Almoneda of the Provincial Bio Toxin Testing Center said their office already reached out to concerned local government units as the red tide scare is still up. The areas identified to be positive of red tide are the coastal areas of Sibucao in Barangay Banago, Barangay Punta Taytay, Magsungay and Reclamation area in Bacolod City.
