    Excerpt
The red tide alert remains in this city and some parts of Negros Occidental after coastal waters in three areas here were found positive for toxins last week. Bacolod City Agriculture Officer Goldwyn Nifras said another seawater sample testing will be conducted Monday. “We will stick to the advisory until sample tests [begin to] show negative results,” he said. Nifras said they have not received reports of actual food poisoning since the red tide alert was issued by acting Mayor Greg Gasataya on Dec. 23.
