Based on the latest laboratory result of the the Bureau of fisheries and aquatic resources (BFAR) and local government unit (LGUs) shellfish collected at coastal waters of Leyte; Coastal water of Duis and Tagbilaran city in Bohol; and Puerto Princesa and honda bays, Puerto Princesa City in Palawan are still positive for paralytic shellfish poison that is beyond the regulatory limit. Moreover, Hinatuan and Lianga bays in Surigao del Sur are now positive for red tide toxin.
