    Excerpt
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) has raised red tide warnings in the coastal waters of Baliet Bay in Mati, Davao Oriental and in Bolinao and Anda towns in Pangasinan after shellfish in the area tested positive for the poisonous red tide toxin. In a bulletin dated April 11, BFAR also said shellfish in the towns in Pangasinan are not fit for human consumption after exceeding the regulatory limit for paralytic shellfish poisoning.
