Photo: Courtesy of SEAFDEC The Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (Pamalakaya) on Tuesday called for the immediate, free distribution of vast tracts of lands used for fishpond operation to small fishermen that were exempted from the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. Pamalakaya Vice Chairman Salvador France said there are over 800,000 hectares of lands fit for fishpond operation that are under the control of multinational corporations and big landlords which the government can place under a genuine agrarian-reform program for free distribution to landless fishermen.
