    The milkfish is the second top aquaculture species produced in the Philippines. To boost the production of milkfish, a manual was published to tackle the broodstock management of bangus. The manual entitled "Development and Managment of Milkfish Broodstock" was published by the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD), and funded by the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-PCAARRD).
