Six fishermen engaged in dynamite fishing off the island barangay of Balbagon in Carles town were apprehended by the Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force on March 31. Recovered from them were 30 kilos of dynamited fishes, a motorized banca with its accessories, air compressor and fish finders. The suspects will be charged with violation of the country's fisheries code, said Bantay Dagat chief Senior Police Officer 1 Gilbert Piedad.
