    The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources yesterday raised the red tide alert over the coastal waters of Daram Island in Daram, Western Samar. BFAR in its recent shellfish bulletin that based on the latest laboratory results of the agency and local government units, shellfish collected on Balite Bay in Mati, Davao Oriental province and the coastal waters of Mandaon in Masbate, were still positive for paralytic shellfish poison beyond the regulatory limit.
