Specifically, Drilon wanted Benigno Aquino Avenue, or Diversion Road, to be rid of establishments, big and small, selling oysters (talaba) and small oysters (sisi). "I'm asking the barangay captains and the residents to help us prohibit such establishments," the Ilonggo senator said "Indi pwede may sisihan dira sa (HAving such establishments along) Benigno Aquino Avenue (seems inappropriate)." Drilon said it is also important for the publi to cooperate by not throwing any waste matter into the river. " We try to clean up the city. We try to make the city beautiful."
