Twelve fishermen using trawl off the coast of Balugian Island in Conception town were arrested. The fishermen from Victorias City, Negros Occidental were onboard five motorboats. The Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force said Municipal Ordinance No. 1 series of 2008 of Concepcion and Section 86 of Republic Act 8552 (Unauthorized Fishing) prohibit trawl fishing.
