    Excerpt
The Philippines yesterday strongly protested new Chinese intrusions at Bajo de Masinloc following two incidents last month, including the ramming of three Philippine fishing vessels in the area by a Chinese Coast Guard vessel. The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) last night said it conveyed Manila’s protest in two protest notes sent to representatives of the Chinese embassy in Manila. The two protest notes were based on a Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) report of Chinese intrusions in Bajo de Masinloc, also called Panatag Shoal, according to a DFA statement issued last night.
