Sixty-eight fishery projects worth P82 million will be implemented in Western Visayas this year. Among the projects are artificial reefs, procurement of motorized fishing boats and paraphernalia, payao, seaweed culture, and dried fish processing, said Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region 6 director Remia Aparri. The BFAR projects were identified under the Bottom-up Budgeting.
