    Excerpt
DENR-6 regional executive director Jim Sampulna told the Guimaras Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO) to ensure that tourists and fisherfolks will not intrude the coral reef area. Sampulna stressed that the coral reefs will boost the marine ecosystem in Nueva Valenia. Dr. Vilma Limates of PENRO Guimaras said the coral reefs are located within the Strict Protection Zone of the Taklong Island National Marine Reserve (TINMR).
