local.descriptionThe camp is a brainchild of the JBLFMU Community and Extension Services (CES) spearheaded by Mary Mar Esmaña in cooperation with the Research Department under Dr. Melchor Magramo. Aside from Guimaras youths, the camp also invited selected student leaders from the institution’s Molo, Arevalo, and Bacolod campuses. According to Esmaña, the camp was full of eco-themed activities ranging from lectures on arts and crafts, leadership, climate change awareness and recycling to outdoor activities like swimming, sea grass inspection and mangrove identification, talent night and more.en
