A community fish landing center was inaugurated in Barangay Sebario, San Lorenzo, Guimaras. It was a project of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in Western Visayas, which also turned over to the fisherfolk 10 units of 20-foot fiberglass boats. These were part of government efforts in sustaining Filipino fishers, said Agriculture secretary Emmanuel Piñol, who led the turnover of the projects on Wednesday.
