Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel “Manny” Piñol turned over farm assistance to farmers and fisherfolk in Antique recently. Piñol distributed 50 units of 20-footer fiber glass boats, five floating tillers, one mini four-wheel drive tractor , six handtractors, threshers, screen house and greenhouse, 26 pump and engine sets, and 10 irrigation projects amounting to a total of PhP47 million. He said the projects by the Duterte administration thru the Department of Agriculture (DA) aims to help the farmers and fisherfolk of Antique improve their living.
