    Coastal municipalities should make sure their waters are clean, according to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR). "The sustainability of coastal and marine ecosystems will benefit present and future generations," said Regional Director Jim Sampulna. He cited the town of San Joaquin in southern Iloilo province as a model that other coastal municipalities could follow.
