    Excerpt
The total number of dead cetaceans found in Mindanao shores is now at 57, according to a non-government organization specializing in the care, rescue, and protection of marine animals. D’Bone Museum curator Darrell Blatchleymade this disclosure as he noted the latest fatality in a 10-foot pygmy sperm whale which was discovered last April 26. The juvenile whale was found stranded around 6 a.m. Thursday, and was initially put under the care of personnel from the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR).
