The Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force apprehended a commercial fishing boat engaged in purse seine fishing and two motorized boats engaged in shell gathering with the use of air compressor off the waters of Concepcion, Iloilo. On Sept. 16, F/B Mateo owned by Chester Chua of Cadiz City, Negros Occidental was spotted in the vicinity of Colebra Island, Concepcion. It was engaged in purse seine fishing.
