    Excerpt
More or less 30 percent of Western Visayas fisheries production will be affected by the fish holiday mounted by commercial fishers, September 22-24. Remia Aparri, director of Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR-6), said the commercial sector accounts for a third of the total fish production in the region. But Aparri said the fish holiday will not affect supply as losses from commercial deep sea fishing will be compensated by aquaculture and municipal sectors.
