    Excerpt
Pioneer Adhesives Foundation, Inc. recently conducted a beach cleanup activity at Villa Beach in Arevalo, Iloilo City in fulfillment of its advocacy of education, disaster relief, and environmental protection. Over 100 volunteers participated in the event which collected and properly disposed of over 300 kilograms of trash from the beach. "The Philippines is home to the most abundant and diverse marine ecosystem on the planet and it is terribly under threat due to several factors, one of which being that we are the third largest contributor of ocean trash in the world," lamented Pioneer Adhesives Foundation executive director Martina Spawowski.
