    Excerpt
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Laguna Lake Development Authority (LLDA) yesterday resumed dismantling illegal fish pens and cages in Laguna de Bay. The two agencies resumed the clearing operations a few days after the LLDA board resolution allowing large-scale fish pen operators to self-dismantle expired last March 31. The DENR and the LLDA are out to dismantle a total of 347 fish pens covering 10,181.93 hectares, more than 90 percent of which or 9,326.1 hectares are occupied by 222 corporations.
