The provincial government turned over 410 solar light sets to marginal fisherfolks in Ajuy, Iloilo on Apr 25, 2017. The recipients were residents whose livelihoods were adversely affected by Supertyphoon Yolanda in 2013. Provincial Administrator Raul Banias said each set includes a 30-watt solar panel, deep cycle battery, controller and two LED bulbs. The first batch which was distributed last year totalled to 1,130 units amounting to P5.876 million.
