Dynamites and fishing materials confiscated from suspected illegal fishers were turned over to the municipal police station of Carles town. Illegal fishing activities in Iloilo include the use of dynamites and active fishing gears such as trawls, among others. The Iloilo Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force is leading the anti-illegal fishing campaign. Its long-term goal is to protect the province's marine resource.
