To ensure the readiness of the provincial government in responding to sea tragedies, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) held a simulation exercise (SIMEX) at the Jordan wharf in Jordan town on Thursday. Gov. JC Rahman A. Nava and Jordan’s Mayor Cresente “Engue” Chavez led the activity together with the PDRRMC responders, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Army, personnel from the Dr. Catalino Gallego Nava Provincial Hospital, Red Cross-Guimaras, and various rescue units.
