    Excerpt
Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol has lauded the rural development projects initiated by the previous administration, saying these will ensure that government funds are spent accordingly. Piñol said the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP) was aligned with the Duterte administration’s agenda of ensuring proper use of public funds. With an aggregate P27.5 billion funding, the PRDP is a rural development strategy designed to create a platform for a modern, climate-smart and market-oriented agri-fishery sector.
