    Excerpt
Fishermen in this coastal town stumbled upon a dying Fraser’s dolphin along the shores of Macajalar Bay in Purok 3, San Vicente, Casinglot on Friday. Witnesses said the marine mammal appeared weak and visibly in distress when it was spotted, prompting locals to immediately alert authorities. Personnel from Barangay Casinglot, led by barangay captain Mario Bolanio, and the Municipal Agriculture Office of Tagoloan responded to the scene. According to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the dolphin died shortly after it was found. Fisheries officials conducted an autopsy before burying the animal.
